Ulrike Hager becomes Director of Communications at babbel.com

Babbel.com continues to grow. With Ulrike Hager, the online learning system has successfully filled the position of Director of Communications. With a degree in business administration, she will now be responsible for the public relations team, including a focus on corporate branding, design and communication. She will report directly to Managing Director Markus Witte.

Hager recently worked as Senior Advisor at the Berlin agency Embassy, and was responsible for brand strategy for numerous companies. Her clients include, among others, the Daimler and Benz Foundation, Lufthansa Private Jet and Mondial Assistance.

“We are very pleased that Ulrike Hager is taking on this global position in our company. As the head of a capable team, she will continue to promote the Babbel brand in numerous international markets,” says Markus Witte, Managing Director of Babbel.

Miss Hager has years of experience in the areas of strategic customer service, brand building and new business. She proved her competent expertise as International Account Director at LuxonCarra and Truebrand in San Francisco. There she was responsible for global marketing strategy for many companies, such as Lufthansa, Siemens Mobile and Emirat Dubai.
