Zivix JamStik on Track to Exceed Goal to Raise $100,000

Minneapolis, MN – April 25, 2013Zivix, LLC, a developer leveraging innovative technology through peripherals, real musical instruments and software, today announced that the company’s campaign for the highly anticipated JamStik™ has crossed the $30,000 milestone through the international crowdfunding website, Indiegogo. After launching the campaign on April 19th to the public, Zivix witnessed over 145 funders generously donate to support the company’s search for funding to manufacture and distribute the portable, easy-to-use guitar-like instrument for iOS.

To kick off the JamStik campaign, Zivix partnered with Rock the Cause, a nonprofit organization that engages young people to build communities through the power of music, social media, and volunteerism, to co-sponsor a party. To kick-off the event, the founder of Rock The Cause, Scott Herold, talked about the connection between learning to play a musical instrument and creating happy, successful students. He wrapped up his brief speech by noting how revolutionary the JamStik can be in quickly enabling students to learn to play an instrument. To see Herold in action, see his event introduction here.

With 33 days left in the campaign Zivix would like to thank all of the backers of JamStik thus far. For further information about the JamStik crowdfunding campaign, visit the official campaign page or contact Leslie Schmidt of Engage at lschmidt@engagepr.com.
