PRESS RELEASE (3/21/2013) – Vancouver-Point Grey, BC: (Sharon Jefferson)  After collection 100 signatures to file for nomination, as Independent in the May 2013 Provincial Elections ,in Vancouver-Point Grey, Vikram Bajwa former Mayoral Candidate Surrey-2011, along with his friends, requested Elizabeth Denham, Commissioner Information, to release her “Vote Scandal”, investigation before Times of India Awards (TOIFA), which are being held in Vancouver on April 4-6th, with the expense of $ 11 Million dollars, which Point Grey residents highly object.

Vikram Bajwa, has written to Commissioner Elizabeth Denham, to expedite the Investigations, pertaining to the contract with TOIFA, awards, where as mentioning his concerns of Premiers spending $ 9.5 Million on TOIFA, whereas about City of Surrey and Vancouver’s policy on Fees collected for annual “Vaisakhi Parades”, on April 13th and April 20th, concluded Chinese Parade in Vancouver, asking both city Mayor’s to outline their policy on Multicultural communities.

Jason Chang from Richmond is determined to file his nomination as Independent from Vancouver against Liberal Susan Anton, to highlight the “Chinese Head Tax issue “
