LIGHTNING RELEASES 04/01/14 — The internationally recognized Center for Sustainable Urbanism offers the CIAO! program this July 5-26th.  The Center for Introduction to Architecture Overseas (CIAO!) explores the evolution of built form from antiquity to modern times using Rome as its living laboratory.

Program Founder and Director, Gail Whitney Karn, is a Harvard educated, Fulbright scholar and former university professor whose sustainability perspective forms the genesis of this program.

Students master freehand sketching, modelmaking and designing Google SketchUp in an atelier environment in a hilltown near Rome.   All work is documented for portfolio development.  Graduates of this program have been accepted to top architecture schools in the US and Europe.  For more information visit the website at www.ciao-cfsu.org
