Chief Minister Badal should Resign -Not with Times-Sada Haque-IOC

PRESS RELEASE (4/7/2013) – Vancouver BC ( Cindy Mountbatten)   Since April 5th all Movie complexes showing the Punjabi Movie “Sada Haque”, haVE been going Full House. The controversial movie slated by Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, of Punjab, has been banned in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi, giving reasons of its certificate as “Too Violent”, unlike for Hollywood Films, which carries a ” R”, for such Film distribution.

Manjit Dhillon, Gursharan Singh, Sukhdeep Kaur, Indo-Canadian Film Society of Toronto, New York Asian Films productions, California Asian Art, Green Chillies Distribution, Federation of India-USA, endorsed a memorandum to be forwarded to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, by IOC President Vikram JS Bajwa, asking for Chief Minister S. Prakash Singh Badal’s resignation, citing reasons to curb ” Rights of Freedom and expression”, for Sada Haque. It was determined after viewing the movie at Cineplex- Surrey BC. Canada Theatres, which  has ” Violence Scenes” and should be greleased under ” R” certification ( which excludes Children) in all states, thus creating a “Hollywood” certification system in India, which until today has not been addressed.
“Since the SAD Party is presently in GOA, they should come to times with the rest of India and World” said ” Aditya Sinha, President of BJP-Chicago USA.
“The India and Punjabi Media, across the United States and Canada, too has objected to the ban of the Movie, with strong words of ” Freedom of speech” and citizens Rights under scrutiny in Punjab”, said Jaswant Bhullar, of Houston texas.
